Tour Itinerary
12:00 pm – Hotel Pick-up in Paracas
Your private driver will collect you from your hotel or agreed location in Paracas at approximately 12:00 pm. From here, begin the journey inland towards the fertile Ica Valley, one of Peru’s most important wine and pisco-producing regions. The drive takes approximately 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes, depending on traffic and local road conditions.
1:15 pm – Arrival at Tacama Winery
Arrive at Tacama, one of Peru’s most historic wineries, surrounded by vineyards and traditional colonial-style architecture. Your driver will assist with arrival arrangements before you join the winery’s own guided experience.
1:30 pm – Don Manuel Circuit & Guided Tasting at Tacama
Enjoy the Don Manuel Circuit, conducted by a specialist guide from Tacama. During the visit, learn about the estate’s history, grape cultivation and the production of Peruvian wine and pisco while exploring selected areas of the property. The experience concludes with a guided tasting of selected products, allowing you to appreciate some of Tacama’s characteristic wines and spirits.
2:45 pm – Lunch & Free Time at Tacama
After the guided visit and tasting, enjoy time for a relaxed lunch at Tacama. This is a convenient opportunity to enjoy the vineyard surroundings and take a break before continuing to the second estate. Lunch is not included and is paid directly by guests.
3:45 pm – Departure for Hacienda La Caravedo
After lunch, meet your private driver and continue towards Hacienda La Caravedo, approximately 25–35 minutes away, depending on local traffic.
4:20 pm – Hacienda La Caravedo Pisco Experience
Arrive at Hacienda La Caravedo, an estate closely associated with the history and production of Peruvian pisco. As at Tacama, the winery visit is conducted by La Caravedo’s own specialist guide, while your private driver remains responsible for transport between the different locations.
During the guided experience, discover the traditional and modern techniques used in pisco production, learn about the grape varieties used to create Peru’s national spirit and enjoy a tasting of selected piscos according to the distillery’s programme.
5:30 pm – Return Journey to Paracas
Meet your private driver and begin the journey back towards Paracas. The return drive generally takes approximately 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes, depending on traffic.
6:45–7:00 pm – Arrival at Your Hotel in Paracas
The experience concludes with drop-off at your hotel or agreed location in Paracas.
The complete private Pisco and wine tour from Paracas lasts approximately 7 hours, including private transport, the Tacama Don Manuel Circuit, lunch time at Tacama, the Hacienda La Caravedo pisco experience and guided tastings.
Service Note: Private transport between Paracas and the wineries is provided with a dedicated driver. The guided visits and tastings inside Tacama and Hacienda La Caravedo are conducted by each winery’s own specialist guides and may occasionally include other visitors depending on the wineries’ operating procedures. Lunch is scheduled after the Tacama experience and before travelling to Hacienda La Caravedo, subject to restaurant opening hours and availability.

Important Information
- Minimum Booking: This private experience requires a minimum of 2 guests per booking.
- Private Transport: Transport between Paracas, Tacama and Hacienda La Caravedo is operated privately with a dedicated driver.
- Winery Visits: Guided tours and tastings inside Tacama and Hacienda La Caravedo are conducted by each winery’s own specialist guides and may occasionally be shared with other visitors.
- Departure Time: Hotel pick-up is scheduled for approximately 12:00 pm from Paracas or the agreed collection point.
- Tour Duration: The complete experience lasts approximately 7 hours, including transport, both winery visits, tastings and lunch time.
- Lunch at Tacama: Time is provided for lunch after the Tacama visit. Food is not included and is paid directly by guests.
- Tastings Included: The standard wine and pisco tastings included in the official winery programmes are covered in the tour price. Additional drinks or premium products ordered separately are not included.
- Alcohol Consumption: Tastings are intended for guests of legal drinking age. We recommend drinking responsibly throughout the experience.
- Dietary Requirements & Allergies: Please inform us in advance of any food allergies, dietary restrictions or special requirements, particularly if you plan to have lunch at Tacama.
- Winery Schedules: Visit times and tasting programmes are subject to the wineries’ operating schedules and may occasionally be adjusted without affecting the overall experience.
- What to Bring: Comfortable clothing, sun protection, sunglasses and a light jacket are recommended depending on the season.
- Bus Connections & Other Activities: If you have a bus connection, transfer or another independently booked activity after the tour, please inform us in advance and provide the scheduled time so we can advise whether the timing is suitable.
- Personal Purchases: Bottles of wine, pisco, souvenirs and other products purchased at the wineries are not included and are paid directly by guests.
Cancellation Policy
- Free Cancellation: Cancel at least 48 hours before the scheduled departure to receive a full refund.
- Late Cancellations: Cancellations made less than 48 hours before departure are non-refundable.
- No-Shows: Guests who are not available at the confirmed hotel or meeting point at the agreed collection time are considered a no-show and are not eligible for a refund.
- Late Arrival: Significant delays caused by guests may require the itinerary to be shortened or adjusted. Missed visits resulting from late arrival are non-refundable.
- Winery Operations: Visits to Tacama and Hacienda La Caravedo are subject to each estate’s operating schedule. If one winery becomes unavailable, we will arrange a suitable alternative where possible.
- Weather & Local Conditions: If the tour cannot operate safely due to weather, road conditions or instructions from local authorities, we will offer the option to reschedule, adjust the itinerary or provide a refund, where applicable.
- Route or Schedule Changes: The order or timing of the winery visits may be adjusted for operational reasons. Minor changes that do not materially affect the experience do not normally qualify for a refund.
- Onward Connections: Guests with buses, transfers or independently booked activities after the tour should inform us in advance. We will help plan the timing, but missed onward services caused by personal delays are not refundable.
