Your experience begins with collection from your hotel in Paracas approximately 30 minutes before your selected Ballestas Islands departure time. You will be transferred to the marina and assisted with check-in before boarding the boat for your shared excursion.

Selected Departure Time – Ballestas Islands Boat Tour

Begin with a shared 2-hour Ballestas Islands boat tour across Paracas Bay, stopping first to admire the impressive Candelabra geoglyph before continuing towards the islands. As you navigate around the rocky coastline, you may observe sea lions, Humboldt penguins and a wide variety of seabirds among natural arches, cliffs and marine formations, whilst your bilingual local guide shares information about the wildlife and natural environment.

After the Boat Tour – Free Time & Journey to Tambo Colorado

Upon returning to Paracas, enjoy approximately 30 minutes of free time to have a coffee, use the facilities or simply relax before continuing by private vehicle towards Tambo Colorado, located approximately one hour inland. The journey takes you through the desert landscapes and agricultural areas of the Pisco Valley.

Tambo Colorado Visit & Return to Paracas

On arrival, explore one of the best-preserved Inca archaeological complexes on the Peruvian coast with your guide, discovering ceremonial plazas, adobe structures, corridors and traces of original painted decoration whilst learning about the site’s importance during the Inca period. Afterwards, travel comfortably back to Paracas, where the tour concludes with drop-off at your hotel or agreed location.
