8:30 am – Meeting & Check-in in Paracas

Meet our team at the JD Adventure Travel office in Paracas approximately 30 minutes before departure. After check-in and a short briefing, you will walk to the nearby marina to board your shared boat.

9:00 am – Ballestas Islands Boat Tour

Begin your shared 2-hour Ballestas Islands boat tour across Paracas Bay. Along the way, admire the impressive Candelabra geoglyph before continuing towards the islands, where you may observe sea lions, Humboldt penguins and a wide variety of seabirds among dramatic rock formations and natural coastal scenery.

11:00 am – Return to Paracas & Free Time

Return to Paracas at approximately 11:00 am and enjoy some free time to have a coffee, use the facilities or relax along the waterfront. Please return to the JD Adventure Travel office by approximately 11:50 am for the next departure.

12:00 pm – Departure to Ica

Depart Paracas aboard shared tourist transport and travel inland towards Ica, passing through the desert landscapes of Peru’s southern coast.

Ica – Traditional Winery Visit & Lunch

Your first stop is a traditional wine and pisco winery, where you will enjoy a guided visit and learn about local production methods. Afterwards, take part in a tasting of Peruvian wines and pisco, followed by free time for lunch at the winery. Lunch is not included and may be purchased directly on site.

Cachiche Village Visit

After lunch, continue with a brief visit to the traditional village of Cachiche, known for its local legends and cultural history, before travelling onwards to Huacachina.

Approximately 4:30 pm – Arrival in Huacachina

Arrive at the famous Huacachina Oasis at approximately 4:30 pm. From here, walk for around 10 minutes across the sand to reach the designated dune buggy boarding area.

5:00 pm – Dune Buggy & Sandboarding Experience

Begin an approximately 1-hour shared dune buggy adventure through Huacachina’s towering desert dunes. Enjoy an exciting ride and stop at selected dunes to try sandboarding before returning towards the oasis.

Approximately 6:10 pm – Buggy Tour Ends in Huacachina

The dune buggy and sandboarding experience finishes in Huacachina at approximately 6:10 pm. From this point, you may choose to end your tour in Huacachina or continue with the return transfer to Paracas, according to your preferred option.
