9:00 am – Hotel Pick-up in Paracas
Your private guide and driver will collect you from your hotel or agreed location in Paracas. After a short introduction, begin the journey towards the Paracas National Reserve in your private vehicle.
9:15 am – Turritella Fossil Site
Start the exploration at the Turritella fossil area, where marine fossils preserved within the desert landscape provide evidence of the region’s ancient geological history. Your guide will explain how this part of the reserve was shaped over millions of years.
9:40 am – Supay & Cathedral Viewpoints
Continue towards the coast to visit the dramatic Supay and Cathedral viewpoints. Enjoy panoramic views over the Pacific Ocean and learn about the geological formations, erosion and natural processes that continue to shape the Paracas coastline.
10:15 am – Yumaque Beach
Travel deeper into the reserve to Yumaque Beach, surrounded by wide desert landscapes and coastal scenery. There will be time for photographs, a short walk and explanations about the reserve’s natural environment.
10:45 am – Isthmus Viewpoint
Continue to the Isthmus viewpoint, one of the most impressive panoramic areas of the Paracas Peninsula. From here, enjoy extensive views across the desert, bays and Pacific coastline.
11:10 am – Red Beach
Visit the distinctive Red Beach, known for its reddish shoreline created by mineral-rich volcanic material. Enjoy time for photographs before beginning the return towards Paracas.
11:40 am – Return through Paracas & Snack Stop
Before travelling inland, we will pass through Paracas and make a short stop so you can purchase snacks, drinks or anything you may wish to take for the journey.
12:00 pm – Journey to Tambo Colorado
Depart Paracas and travel inland towards Tambo Colorado, approximately 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes by road, depending on traffic and local conditions. Along the way, the scenery changes dramatically from the coastal desert to the inland valleys.
During the drive, enjoy impressive desert landscapes and unusual natural formations, including views of the area locally associated with El Dragón, before continuing towards the archaeological site.
1:10 pm – Arrival at Tambo Colorado
Arrive at Tambo Colorado, one of the best-preserved Inca adobe complexes on Peru’s southern coast.
1:15 pm – Guided Visit to Tambo Colorado
Enjoy approximately 1 hour of guided exploration through the archaeological complex. Discover its plazas, ceremonial areas, administrative spaces and remarkably preserved adobe walls while learning about the Inca presence in the region, architectural techniques and the historical importance of this site.
2:15 pm – Free Time & Lunch Stop
After the guided visit, there will be time to relax and enjoy lunch. Depending on the day and your preferences, we can stop at a suitable local restaurant or agreed location along the return route. Lunch is not included and is paid directly by guests.
3:00 pm – Return Journey to Paracas
Begin the drive back towards the coast, enjoying the changing desert scenery along the way.
4:00–4:15 pm – Arrival at Your Hotel in Paracas
The tour concludes with drop-off at your hotel or agreed location in Paracas.
The complete private experience lasts approximately 7 hours, although timings may vary slightly depending on traffic, the pace of the visits, lunch arrangements and local conditions.
