Tour Itinerary

Flight Time Confirmation – Approximately 2 Days Before Departure
The airline will confirm your final flight time approximately two days before the scheduled date. For this reason, guests must keep the day as flexible as possible and should not arrange other tours, transfers or time-sensitive activities around the flight. Flight schedules may change due to weather, aircraft operations or local aviation conditions.

Hotel Pick-up or Meeting at Pisco Airport
Depending on your booking arrangement, we will either collect you from your hotel in Paracas or Pisco or meet you directly at Pisco Airport at the confirmed time. Guests must bring their original passport, as it is required for airline check-in and identification.

Airport Check-in & Mandatory Fees
Upon arrival at the airport, you will proceed to the airline counter for check-in. Passenger details and travel documents will be verified, and any applicable airport charges, tourist taxes or entrance fees not included in the tour price must be paid before boarding.

Pre-Flight Procedures & Boarding Lounge
After completing check-in, passengers will proceed through the required airport procedures and enter the boarding lounge. The airline team will provide any final instructions regarding seating, safety and boarding.

Scenic Flight Over the Nazca & Palpa Geoglyphs
Board the aircraft and begin the scenic flight from Pisco over the vast desert landscapes of southern Peru. The complete flight lasts approximately 1 hour 40–45 minutes, including the journey towards the archaeological zone and the aerial observation of the principal geoglyphs.

During the flight, you may observe several of the best-known figures and formations, including the Monkey, Hummingbird, Condor, Spider, Astronaut and other geometric designs, as well as additional geoglyphs in the Palpa and Nazca areas, depending on the authorised flight route.

Observation-Only Experience
This is primarily an aerial observation experience, rather than a guided archaeological tour. There is no dedicated tour guide on board providing historical commentary. The pilots will normally indicate when the aircraft is approaching the principal geoglyphs so passengers know where to look and photograph.

Return to Pisco Airport & Flight Certificate
After completing the aerial circuit, the aircraft will return to Pisco Airport. Following landing and disembarkation, passengers will receive a flight certificate as a souvenir of the experience.

End of Service
If hotel transfer is included in your booking, our team will meet you after the flight and return you to your hotel in Paracas or Pisco. Guests meeting directly at the airport will conclude the service after the flight procedures are completed.

Important Information

  • Flight Schedule: The airline confirms the final flight time approximately two days before departure. Guests should keep the day flexible and avoid scheduling other tours, transfers or time-sensitive activities around the flight.
  • Weather & Aviation Conditions: Flights are subject to weather, visibility, wind conditions, airport operations and instructions from the aviation authorities. Delays, rescheduling or cancellation may occur if conditions are not considered safe for flying.
  • Original Passport Required: All passengers must bring their original passport for airline check-in. Copies or photographs may not be accepted.
  • Passenger Details: Full passenger information must be provided in advance, including full name, passport number, nationality, date of birth and body weight, as required by the airline for operational and weight-and-balance purposes.
  • Advance Booking: We strongly recommend booking well in advance, as aircraft capacity and available flight slots from Pisco are limited.
  • Airport Check-in: Passengers must complete airline check-in and pay any applicable airport taxes, tourist fees or entrance charges before boarding, unless otherwise stated in the booking confirmation.
  • Observation Flight: This is an aerial sightseeing experience, not a guided archaeological tour. The pilots normally indicate when the aircraft is approaching the principal geoglyphs, but detailed historical commentary is not provided on board.
  • Motion Sickness: The aircraft may make repeated banking turns so passengers on both sides can view the geoglyphs. Guests who are sensitive to motion sickness or nausea should consider taking their usual travel-sickness precautions before the flight and avoid heavy meals immediately beforehand.
  • Aircraft & Seating: Aircraft type, seating arrangements and passenger distribution are determined by the airline according to operational requirements and weight-and-balance regulations.
  • Flight Duration: The complete scenic flight from Pisco lasts approximately 1 hour 40–45 minutes, although actual flying time may vary slightly depending on routing and aviation conditions.
  • Photography: Cameras and mobile phones may be used subject to airline instructions. Window reflections and aircraft movement can affect photographs, so we recommend keeping devices ready before approaching the main geoglyphs.
  • Hotel Transfers: If hotel pick-up is included, the collection time will be coordinated according to the confirmed flight schedule. Guests meeting directly at Pisco Airport must arrive at the advised check-in time.

Cancellation Policy

  • Free Cancellation: Cancel at least 10 days before the scheduled flight date to receive a full refund.
  • Late Cancellations: Cancellations made less than 10 days before departure are non-refundable due to advance airline reservations, limited aircraft capacity and operational arrangements.
  • No-Shows: Guests who do not arrive at the confirmed hotel pick-up point or Pisco Airport at the required time are considered a no-show and are not eligible for a refund.
  • Missing Travel Documents: Passengers must bring their original passport. If boarding is refused because the required identification is not presented, the booking is non-refundable.
  • Passenger Information: Full passenger details and accurate body weight must be provided in advance. Any airline restrictions resulting from incorrect or incomplete information may affect boarding and may not be refundable.
  • Weather & Aviation Conditions: If the flight cannot operate due to unsafe weather, poor visibility, strong winds, airport restrictions or instructions from the aviation authorities, the airline may delay or reschedule the flight.
  • Flight Cancellation by the Airline: If the airline ultimately cancels the flight and no suitable alternative can be offered, a refund for the affected flight service will be arranged according to the airline’s applicable conditions.
  • Schedule Changes: Flight times are confirmed approximately two days before departure and may change for operational reasons. Guests must maintain flexibility on the day of the experience.
  • Missed Activities or Connections: We strongly advise against booking other time-sensitive activities, flights or transfers around the Nazca Lines flight. Independently booked services missed due to flight delays or schedule changes are not refundable by JD Adventure Travel.
