Tour Itinerary
Hotel Pick-up – Approximately 10 Minutes Before Your Selected Departure
We will collect you from your hotel or agreed meeting point in Paracas approximately 10 minutes before your confirmed departure time. A short transfer will take you to our mini buggy base, where your vehicle will be prepared for the experience.
Safety Briefing & Mini Buggy Introduction
Before setting off, our team will provide a clear safety briefing and explain how to operate the mini buggy. Each vehicle accommodates up to two guests. Once everyone is comfortable with the controls, the group will depart together behind the route instructor.
Entrance to Paracas National Reserve
The adventure begins with the drive towards the entrance of the Paracas National Reserve. At the official control point, there will be a brief stop to arrange payment of the reserve entrance fee before continuing along the authorised off-road route.
Yumaque Beach
Our first scenic stop is Yumaque Beach, surrounded by wide desert landscapes and the Pacific coast. You will have time to stop, enjoy the scenery and take photographs before continuing the drive.
Isthmus Viewpoint
We then continue towards the Isthmus viewpoint, one of the most impressive panoramic areas of the reserve. From here, the contrast between the desert, coastline and ocean creates an excellent setting for photographs and a short rest.
Red Beach
The final stop is Red Beach, known for its distinctive reddish shoreline and dramatic desert surroundings. After time to appreciate the landscape, we begin the return journey through the reserve.
Return to the Mini Buggy Base
The complete driving route, including the three scenic stops, lasts approximately 2 hours from departure from the mini buggy base until return. After arriving back at the base, a short transfer will take you back to your hotel or agreed location in Paracas.
Important: This is a self-drive adventure experience, not a conventional historical guided tour. All participants follow a route instructor, whose role is to lead the route, coordinate the group and provide operational and safety assistance throughout the experience. Historical commentary or detailed interpretation of the reserve is not included.

Important Information
- Hotel Pick-up: Collection is arranged approximately 10 minutes before your selected departure time from hotels or agreed locations within Paracas.
- Departure Times: This experience operates at 9:00 am, 11:00 am, 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm, subject to availability.
- Mini Buggy Capacity: Each mini buggy accommodates a maximum of two guests.
- Self-Drive Experience: This is an adventure driving tour. Guests operate their own mini buggy while following the designated route behind the instructor.
- Route Instructor: The instructor leads the route and provides safety and logistical assistance throughout the experience. This is not a historical or interpretative guided tour.
- Safety Briefing: All participants receive instructions on how to operate the vehicle and follow the route safely before entering the reserve.
- Safety Equipment: Helmets and protective goggles are provided and must be used as instructed during the experience.
- Paracas National Reserve Entrance: The reserve entrance fee is not included and must be paid separately at the official control point before entering the protected area.
- Bandanas: Face coverings or bandanas are not included. Guests may bring their own, particularly for protection from dust and sand.
- Tour Duration: The mini buggy route lasts approximately 2 hours, including the scenic stops at Yumaque Beach, the Isthmus viewpoint and Red Beach, calculated from departure from the buggy base until return.
- Weather & Route Conditions: The route may be adjusted if required due to weather, road conditions or instructions from the Paracas National Reserve authorities.
- What to Bring: Comfortable clothing, closed footwear, sunscreen, sunglasses and a light jacket are recommended depending on the season.
- Following Instructions: For safety reasons, guests must remain with the group, follow the instructor’s route and respect all operational instructions throughout the experience.
Cancellation Policy
- Free Cancellation: Cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure to receive a full refund.
- Late Cancellations: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before departure are non-refundable.
- No-Shows: Guests who do not arrive at the confirmed pick-up point or mini buggy base at the agreed time are considered a no-show and are not eligible for a refund.
- Late Arrival: Significant delays may result in a shortened experience or missed departure. In such cases, refunds may not be available.
- Weather & Route Conditions: If the experience cannot operate safely due to weather, route conditions or instructions from the Paracas National Reserve authorities, we will offer the option to reschedule, provide an alternative arrangement or issue a refund, where applicable.
- Operational Changes: The route or scheduled departure may be adjusted if required for safety or operational reasons. Any significant changes will be communicated to guests as soon as possible.
