2:30 pm – Check-in at Our Huacachina Office
Please arrive at our office in Huacachina approximately 30 minutes before departure. Our team will confirm your booking, organise your equipment and provide the final instructions before the experience begins.

3:00 pm – Departure from Huacachina
The tour begins with a short walk through the main entrance area of Huacachina before boarding the dune buggy. Once everyone is ready, we leave the oasis and head into the surrounding desert.

Off-Road Journey to the Training Dunes
Rather than following the busiest standard buggy routes, we travel towards a more specialised area of the desert selected for professional sandboarding and sand skiing. The route includes an exciting buggy journey across the dunes before reaching the first riding area.

Professional Sandboarding or Sand Skiing Session
During the experience, you will visit approximately three large dunes, each offering different gradients and riding conditions. Professional sandboards and sand skis are provided, and you can choose the equipment that best suits your experience and preference.

Multiple Runs at Your Own Pace
At each dune, you will have the opportunity to complete several descents. The number of runs depends on your fitness level, confidence and personal pace, allowing the session to remain challenging without being rushed. Your instructor will provide practical guidance and support throughout the activity.

Progressive Dune Riding
As the tour continues, the group moves between selected dunes, giving you the chance to practise technique, improve control and experience longer or steeper descents where conditions allow. The focus is on active riding rather than a conventional sightseeing buggy circuit.

Sunset in the Ica Desert
Towards the end of the experience, stop at a panoramic dune to enjoy the sunset over the Ica desert. This is a relaxed final moment to appreciate the changing colours of the landscape and take photographs before returning to Huacachina.

Approximately 6:00 pm – Return to Huacachina
After sunset, board the buggy for the return journey across the dunes. The experience finishes back in Huacachina at approximately 6:00 pm, completing around 3 hours of professional sandboarding or sand skiing, off-road desert driving and sunset scenery.
