ITINERARY
Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 01 — Welcome to Lima
Arrive in Lima, where a private representative will meet you at the airport and accompany you to your hotel. After check-in, enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure to relax and settle into Peru’s vibrant capital.
Day 02 — Lima to Cusco & City Tour
After breakfast, transfer privately to Lima Airport for your flight to Cusco. On arrival, meet your private guide and begin an introductory tour of the historic city, exploring its impressive Inca foundations, colonial architecture and some of its most important landmarks. Afterwards, transfer to your hotel and enjoy the evening at leisure.
Day 03 — Explore the Sacred Valley
Leave Cusco with your private guide and travel into the Sacred Valley, discovering traditional Andean communities, remarkable Inca sites and dramatic mountain landscapes along the way. The day is paced comfortably, with time to explore the valley before continuing to your selected hotel for an overnight stay surrounded by the Andes.
Day 04 — Machu Picchu
Transfer to the railway station and board the scenic train towards Aguas Calientes. On arrival, continue to Machu Picchu and explore the legendary Inca citadel with your private guide, learning about its history, architecture and extraordinary mountain setting. After the visit, return to Aguas Calientes and travel by train back towards the Sacred Valley, followed by a private transfer to your hotel in Cusco.
Day 05 — Cusco to Guayaquil via Lima
After breakfast, transfer privately to Cusco Airport for your flight to Guayaquil via Lima. On arrival in Ecuador, meet your private representative and transfer to your hotel. Enjoy the remainder of the evening at leisure before beginning the Galápagos portion of your journey the following day.
Day 06 — Guayaquil to San Cristóbal, Galápagos
Transfer to Guayaquil Airport for your flight to San Cristóbal Island. On arrival, begin exploring the island with your local guide, visiting the Tijeretas viewpoint, Tijeretas Bay and Playa Carola. Enjoy your first introduction to the distinctive landscapes and wildlife of the Galápagos before settling into your hotel on San Cristóbal.
Day 07 — Isla Lobos or Kicker Rock
Set out on a guided marine excursion to either Isla Lobos or Kicker Rock, depending on the day’s operation and local conditions. Discover dramatic coastal scenery and rich marine life, with opportunities to observe wildlife in its natural habitat. Afterwards, enjoy time at a local beach and explore the waterfront of Puerto Baquerizo Moreno before returning to your hotel.
Day 08 — San Cristóbal to Santa Cruz Island
Travel from San Cristóbal to Santa Cruz Island and continue your exploration of the Galápagos. Visit the Charles Darwin Research Station, discover the lush highlands of Santa Cruz and explore a private reserve where giant tortoises can be observed roaming freely in their natural environment. Overnight on Santa Cruz Island.
Day 09 — Uninhabited Island Exploration
Spend the day exploring one of the Galápagos’ remarkable uninhabited islands, such as North Seymour, South Plaza or Bartolomé, depending on the authorised schedule of the Galápagos National Park. Enjoy a guided walk to observe endemic wildlife and volcanic landscapes, followed by a snorkelling session in the surrounding waters. Return to Santa Cruz Island after the excursion.
Day 10 — Galápagos to Guayaquil & Departure
Transfer to the airport for your return flight to Guayaquil. On arrival, connect with your onward international flight home, bringing your Machu Picchu & Galápagos journey to a close.
