Please arrive at our Huacachina office at least 20 minutes before departure to ensure a smooth check-in. Once ready, we will begin with a short 10-minute walk through the sand to reach our designated boarding area within the dunes. There, your adventure officially begins as you hop into our powerful dune buggies for an unforgettable ride across the desert landscapes of Ica. We’ll journey through a series of sand dunes of various shapes and heights, offering thrilling climbs and exciting drops along the way.

During the tour, you’ll have the optional chance to try sandboarding down the dunes—ideal for those seeking an extra adrenaline rush! If you prefer not to participate, you can simply remain comfortably in the vehicle and enjoy the scenery. As the tour comes to an end, we’ll stop at a high vantage point to witness a breathtaking desert sunset, a perfect moment to capture lasting memories. Finally, we descend to the Huacachina viewpoint, where the tour concludes.

Please note that this tour does not include hotel pick-up. The meeting point is exclusively at our office in Huacachina, and all participants must arrive at least 20 minutes before the scheduled departure time to ensure a timely start.

If you are travelling from Lima, Paracas, or Nazca, we strongly recommend departing early, as traffic and road conditions can cause delays, especially during peak hours. Planning ahead will help ensure you don’t miss out on this unforgettable desert experience.

If you’re visiting Huacachina just for the day and travelling with luggage, don’t worry – we’ve got you covered. You are welcome to leave your bags safely at our office while you enjoy the tour. Our team will securely store your belongings, allowing you to explore the desert stress-free.

Once the tour is over, you can simply return to our office to collect your luggage. This service is completely free of charge for our customers and ensures a more comfortable and enjoyable experience, especially if you’re continuing your journey after the adventure.

This tour is not suitable for cruise ship passengers arriving at San Martín Port, as the timings and logistics do not match cruise schedules. Please note that this is a land-based tour with fixed departure times and we are unable to offer custom pickups from the port.

For the best experience, we recommend this tour for visitors who are staying overnight or arriving independently in Ica or Huacachina.

You may cancel or reschedule your tour up to 24 hours before the scheduled departure time at no additional cost. If you fail to show up on the day of the tour (No Show), no refunds or rescheduling will be offered.
