Day 1: Lima – Cusco

Your tour begins directly at Callao Port, with no need to take a shuttle service, where our team will greet you and coordinate your private transfer to Lima Airport. The pick-up time will be confirmed in advance depending on your cruise ship’s arrival, generally scheduled around 07:00 a.m., with flexibility to adjust if required. You will then board a flight of approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes to Cusco. Upon arrival, you will be met by our staff and transferred to your hotel for a tour briefing. Depending on your physical condition and mood, you may either choose to rest or enjoy a guided city tour of Cusco, visiting its highlights such as the Main Square (Plaza de Armas), the Cathedral, the Temple of the Sun (Qoricancha), and San Pedro Market, always accompanied by an expert guide. In the afternoon, you will have free time to rest and acclimatise to the altitude, with our recommendation to take it easy and stay well hydrated. (No Meals)

Day 2: Machu Picchu Guided tour.

The day begins very early with a buffet breakfast at the hotel from 4:00 a.m.. At 5:20 a.m., we will depart by private transport to the Ollantaytambo train station, located approximately 2 hours by road from Cusco, through stunning Andean landscapes.

From Ollantaytambo, you will board the Vistadome train, featuring panoramic windows that offer breathtaking views of the Sacred Valley and the Urubamba River. The journey to Aguas Calientes takes about 1 hour and 40 minutes, covering roughly 40 km.

Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, we will take the official shuttle buses up to Machu Picchu, a 30-minute ride that brings us directly to the entrance of the citadel. Here, you will enjoy a private guided tour of approximately 2 hours, designed exclusively for our clients.

At Machu Picchu, we offer two official circuits:

• Circuit 2 (moderate physical level – recommended for most travellers): This is the most complete route, covering the iconic areas of Machu Picchu such as the Main Square, the Temple of the Sun, the Temple of the Three Windows, the Guardian’s House, and the residential sector. It offers the classic postcard views and a well-balanced experience of history and scenery.
• Circuit 3 (low physical level – ideal for those seeking less physical effort): This route focuses on the lower section of Machu Picchu, with a shorter and easier walk. Highlights include the Temple of the Condor, the agricultural terraces, and Inca residences, providing a fascinating visit with less walking required.

The choice of circuit depends on your fitness level and preference, and we will handle the ticket purchase to ensure the most suitable option for you.

After the guided visit, we will take the shuttle bus down to Aguas Calientes, where you will have free time for lunch (not included). Afterwards, we will return by train to Ollantaytambo, followed by private transport back to Cusco. Arrival will be in the evening, so we recommend having a good lunch during the day, as it will be a late return. (Breakfast included)

Day 3: Cusco – Lima – Callao Port

The final day of the tour begins with an early breakfast at the hotel, followed by a private transfer to Cusco Airport to board your flight back to Lima. Pick-up Time
All our itineraries are scheduled according to your cruise ship’s official arrival time. The pick-up time may vary depending on the ship’s schedule, but it is always coordinated in advance, ensuring a punctual start and a safe port-to-port service.

Drop Off / Return
The tour ends at the same location as the pick-up, in this case Callao Port. We always coordinate the return according to your ship’s itinerary, ensuring you arrive well in advance and without any issues for boarding. Return times may vary depending on your cruise departure and, of course, the scheduled flight times included in the itinerary.

Weather in Cusco and Machu Picchu
The weather in Cusco and Machu Picchu can be variable throughout the year, so it is important to be prepared. During the day, it is usually sunny and pleasant, with temperatures ranging from 15 to 22 °C, while at night it can drop significantly, reaching around 5 °C in winter.

Light rain or showers are common, especially from November to March, so it is advisable to bring light, waterproof clothing and comfortable walking shoes. Fitness Level and Accessibility
It is very important to inform us of your fitness level before the trip, so we can organise a safe and comfortable itinerary tailored to your needs. Some tours involve walking at high altitude and uneven terrain, especially in Cusco and Machu Picchu.

For travellers using a wheelchair, visiting Cusco is possible, but some areas, particularly the Machu Picchu citadel, are not fully accessible. We will do our best to assist you and ensure you enjoy the experience, but prior coordination and acceptance of certain physical limitations of the terrain are required.

Altitude Sickness (Soroche)
Since Cusco and Machu Picchu are at high altitudes (Cusco at 3,400 m and Machu Picchu at 2,430 m above sea level), some visitors may experience altitude sickness, known as soroche, which can cause headaches, fatigue, dizziness, or shortness of breath.

To prevent or reduce its effects, we recommend taking it easy, staying well hydrated, avoiding heavy meals and excessive alcohol, and getting adequate rest during your first day in Cusco. Drinking coca tea or taking altitude sickness tablets recommended by your doctor can also help. • Cancellations within 30 days of the tour will receive an 80% refund, with 20% retained for the issuance of tickets and flight arrangements.
